The Parish Pastoral Team (PPT) is a representative body of parishioners. The overall purpose of the PPT is to seek God’s will for the parish and work with the clergy to share the Gospel message, build a community of disciples who respond to their baptismal call to lives of holiness, witness and service, and further the mission of Christ in our parish community and beyond.

To achieve the overall purpose, the PPT will:

• maintain an overview of current parish life
• be a means of communication between parish groups and ministries of the parish
• provide a link with other parishes and faith communities in our local area
• discern the spiritual and pastoral priorities of the parish
• discern any areas of Christian mission in the parish that need support
• develop a strategic plan that sets out actions to progress the spiritual and pastoral priorities and the Christian mission of the parish
• ensure the strategic plan is inclusive and provides opportunities for parishioners to identify and apply their talents, both in delivering the parish priorities and in service to the Christian mission of the parish
• include clear and timely actions in the strategic plan
• communicate the strategic plan to all members of the parish and report on progress to the parish annually
• review the plan at least every 2 years
• meet regularly, as set out in the PPT terms of reference.
