About Us

Thank you for visiting our web site.
Whatever the reason for visiting us, our aim is to make you feel welcome and that whenever you visit our church you will feel spiritually uplifted.

If you are a Catholic who has not been to church for a while, now is a great time to come more regularly. Whether it is 30 days or 30 years since you last came, you are assured of a welcome, and a listening ear if you want to talk about your faith.

If you are not a Catholic and would like to know about joining the Catholic Church then you are very welcome to attend Mass but you could also contact us to talk about our programme for supporting people who are thinking about becoming a Catholic. Making a call would not place you under any obligation at all. You can contact any member of the Parish Pastoral Team and you will find our photos and contact details on the notice board in the porch of the church.

We have many groups in our parish that meet for social or spiritual activities. If you would like to know more about our parish life, please look at the contact names on this website or call the parish office (0161 928 1689) for contact names and numbers.

Whether you visit for Mass, a baptism, a wedding, or another of the many services that we celebrate here at St Vincent’s we hope that you will feel at ease. Please do introduce yourself if you are new to the parish.

We hope to see you at one of our Masses and the Mass times are all printed below. Each of the different Mass times has its own character. Do try attending the different Masses to find the one that suits you best.
