Alter Servers

Deacon John has taken on responsible for training and managing our altar servers.

The parish has 42 altar servers who are both young and old, male and female who serve the community at Mass each Sunday. Anyone who is interested in serving can contact Deacon John through the parish office.

Initial t raining will be provided and normally takes seven half hour sessions at church after school or at the weekend.

The 11.15am Mass is a sung high Mass and is a little longer and more complicated than the other Sunday Masses. This Mass is usually served by adults but we would like younger members of the parish to involved. The adults also serve during the week at 12.15 Mass, when the children are in school.
